Splendour was the only word
That could describe this Queen
Her radiance disarming,
intelligence so keen

Standing in that splendour
There was much that she could do.
But how was she to tell the King,
though in her heart she knew

They said "for such a time as this"
Their voice rang in her ears.
She knew not where to get the words.
Her heart was held by fear

And suddenly she remembered
the way it all had been.
Heartache upon heartache.
The dissolving of a dream

You cannot let this pass,
the resolve inside her cried
You must arise and walk as Queen.
Your God will be your guide

The words again resounded
"For such a time as this"
The reason you have been born
A moment not to miss

Again resolve engulfed her heart
This is your time to tell
The story of your people
The pain with which they fell

The King nodded permission
The scepter in his hand
The Queen cried out for mercy
For Jews throughout the land

They are God's chosen people
They are the Bridegroom's Bride
If wickedness prevails
what will become of them? she cried

The King just sat still listening
His face turned to the floor
He knew he'd heard the truth at last
Surely there was no more

Enough he cried as he heard the last
of a tale beyond belief.
Action must be taken
before there is more grief

And so it was Queen Esther,
stepped to the mark that day
Her courage and her splendour
to the Nations a display

And so it is for us.
A destiny so clear.
Just listen to the heart of God
and refuse the chains of fear.

Esther 4:1-17

God has given you a promise
You hold it in your heart
He is keeping it alive in you
Since you were set apart

And thou it seems there is not change
And that it will not come
He's going to release it soon
To be seen by more than some

You know that He has set you
Aside for something new
But you have wondered "But when oh Lord"
Yes… I can only wait for You

Don't you concern yourself about it
I have it in My hand
There is a time that's coming
You'll walk throughout the land

And He would say the treasure
That you've always held
Will be released when time is right
Then you'll see my plans all meld

Because this hidden treasure
The promise that you carry
Has had to be developed
That's why I had to tarry

And there is a time that's coming
When all that you've longed for
Will become reality
As I open up the door

It is a door of plenty
One where you'll have no need
And I will lift your heart and head
And show you My tiny seed

Or that it seems to natural eyes
They would not be bothered by
But because it has the touch of God
Will break open Satan's lie

And you will see those around
Who have caused you oft' to grieve
They'll choose to walk the way they should
My purpose to achieve

And then you'll watch the miracles
In people all around
As they catch hold of all I've done
Released from that which they were bound

There is a song of victory
That permeates the hills
The nooks and crannies, fields and mounts'
As My sound lifts and fills

The sound will be enormous
Like a rushing wind
My Spirit rushing forward
All lies it will rescind

You see there has been blindness
So that eyes could not see
But I'm about to change things
The captives to set free

So don't pine about the moment
After all I'm outside time
Sometimes My ways are hard to see
There seems no rhythm and no rhyme

You are a lover I know well
I've always seen your heart
Right from the very beginning
When I did set apart

Be still and know that I am God
I hold your hand My son
Just look to me and let me show
The reasons we are One

All was to fulfill a purpose
From early back in time
The tiny seed within your heart
Planted by This Love Divine

Look up and see the sunrise
And watch as it sets again
And sing this new song with Me son
"Praise His Name" the loud refrain.

You are Christmas on a stick
The icing on the cake
The dollop on the strawberries
No better would I make

The inside of a banana
The cream between the bun
The toffee in a lolly
The very best of fun

The sugar in the milo
The icecream in iced coffee
The flesh inside a coconut
The chocolate on a toffee

And if that is not enough
I love you up to the stars
And that is just the start
Think of the inside of a Mars

The crackling on the Pork
The joy that follows sadness
The juice within the orange
The epitome of gladness

And if that is not enough
I can easily show you more
The point up on the pinnacle
So much more I have in store

And that is how I see you
Magnificent you are
The plume upon a peacock
My bright and shining star

So remember all this lovely
I love you up to the sky
So grab hold of all you are in ME
And see the enemy denied.
